I am a Benefit junkie. Of all the make-up and beauty product brands out there, I am definitely most faithful to the Benefit brand, and very rarely cheat.
So I was of course tickled pink to be able to meet Annie and Maggie Ford Danielson, the daughters of Benefit co-founder Jane Ford at the Chinook Centre Sephora this past weekend.
Stunning and sweet, the girls sat down with me and shared some beauty tips (try concealer as an under eye-shadow primer), talked about every girl’s make-up bag must-have’s (brow product, lip colour, powder and concealer), and just why their packaging is so cheeky—make-up is supposed to be fun!
So as I look ahead to more Benefit product launches later this year (top secret for now!), I share my personal Benefit top 5 that I simply refuse to live without:
POREfessional: The newest of Benefit products, this one I came to love instantly. Not blessed with micro-sized pores, this product does the impossible—makes them nearly vanish from sight. I use it over top of my foundation for a silky finish.
benetint & high beam: I rarely use one without the other on my cheeks. high beam for a brightening glow, and benetint for the semi flushed look—most often caused naturally by the cute guy walk-by.
BADgal lash mascara: no mascara has yet to give me sexier and fuller lashes.
Ooh La Lift: late nights lend themselves to some dark circles. I consider this the under-eye magic eraser.
Firmology: A toning serum with a hue of pink, perfect for that fresh-looking (and feeling!) complexion.
