Goodbyes are never easy. But the great thing about them is that they are usually gateways to new beginnings. I usually subscribe to a version of the "Close a door, open a window" philosophy, as it has been my experience that this is usually the case.
It is with this in mind, that I say goodbye to sweetspot.ca and its loyal audience through this, my final blog post.
I have been tickled pink to bring you the best of the city I love week after week, and gab with you like girlfriends over a glass of wine (which I now officially indulge in!).
I have simply had a blast, indulging in new experiences, and growing immeasurably. Sadly, my penchant for shopping and shoes was not curbed (a disease with no acceptable cure I’m learning) but rather heightened sourcing out new finds for all of you — yes, I am trying, with a measure of futility, to assign blame to each and every one of you!
So as I wish all of you well, I take with me valuable lessons from my time with the sweetspot.ca family: First, pink is most definitely the Sweetest of all colours, looking and feeling like a million bucks (without spending it!) is not a trivial endeavor, and if there is a pair of $1000 shoes I covet, I can usually find the more affordable doppelganger with a little bit of due diligence. 
To the readers—thank-you for your continued encouragement and feedback, and for allowing me to be part of your days week after week. To the sweetspot.ca family, you are some of the most amazing women I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work with, and look forward to your continued expertise in all things sweet and fabulous.
You may now have to excuse my flair for the dramatic and downright cheesy, but if there is any advice I can doll out to you, it is to follow your bliss—you can never go wrong chasing your happiness. Just wear a rocking pair of heels when you do so.
