Bon Jovi, Friday Night Lights, Pomegranates and more...
Hello Sweetspot readers. My name is Michaelle LeManne, and I will be your blogger for today, and hopefully many more to come.
Before I delve too deeply into all that is on my mind, it is only fair (and admittedly somewhat self-indulgent), that I let you know what’s important to know about me, and hopefully shed some light on future (and hopefully coherent) ramblings.
First and foremost, I love
Bon Jovi. Not in the whimsical, off the cuff ‘Oh I love that band’ kind of way. It hinges on a ‘don’t you dare take the name of Jon Bon Jovi in vain’, stalker kind of affection.
I am a TV aficionado, (see how I euphemised ‘addict’?), with many TV “boyfriends” that I spend weekly time with:
Taylor Kitsch (
Friday Night Lights),
Josh Holloway (
Lost), and
Shemar Moore (
Criminal Minds) are my rotating trio.
I currently have 23 shows on the go, (thank God for the eight wonder of the world, PVR), and indulge on weekly hits of
Gossip Girl,
30 Rock,
ER,
Greys Anatomy,
American Idol,
Without a Trace,
Say Yes to the Dress, and sadly, many more.
I love
pomegranates (the actual fruit, not the juice), shopping, girl’s nights, and regular visits to the spa when the budget allows. I’m not really into sports, but will fulfill a female stereotype and watch ALOT of
Figure Skating.

Finding the perfect pair of jeans has become an on-going mission, as has the crusade against
UGGs and all things
Croc.
I ALWAYS have music on, (rock/alt rock would be the ‘alone on a desert island’ genre of choice), and believe few things beat a great night with friends.
I don’t do well with anything that requires patience or a great deal of forethought, and would sob if movie theatres ever teetered on the verge of extinction.
I’m trying to lose a few pounds, eat better, exercise more, and trying not to be everything to everyone.
I think that a great family and true friends are the not-so-secret secrets to a happy life, and that a woman should do whatever she needs to feel whole and fulfilled.
Oh, and I have a husband and have a 21-month old son, who redefine love on a daily basis.
Ok, so you get the gist.
Thanks for letting me introduce myself, and I’ll be back to bend your ear next week.
Ciao.
