Although math has never been our strong suit (we got lost somewhere between Pythagoras and calculus) there are some numbers we can't get enough of: 10, 14 and 24 (in karats, of course). But lately we've been loving another number: 925. As in Crafted925 by Toronto-based designer Leane Funk, who uses sterling silver and fine gemstones to make stunning jewellery.
The DragonFly Necklace ($65) adds glam to any outfit, from plain tees to cocktail dresses. When we're feeling a bit more daring, we'll opt for the long Rock Crystal Hammered Silver Earrings ($60) and matching Rock Crystal Necklace ($50) that dangles down our back (and is an instant head-turner.) For sentimental reasons we're coveting the New Family Ring ($2100) that allows us to wear family birthstones in gorgeous 14k white or yellow gold. (And since the gems line both sides of the band, there's enough room for even the largest of families.)
Of course, this begs the question of which is greater, 24k gold or 925 silver? Now that's a math equation we don't mind struggling with.
