It happened one night

Lemon ParkVancouver (Jan.11.08)

It's tough to believe in love at first sight until you experience it first-hand. Like we did when we laid our eyes on a piece of jewelry by Lemon Park.

Active Image It happened at a swanky cocktail party. We locked on to the most stunning necklace we'd ever seen: a bold tangle of icy crystals, held together with demure gold-plated wire. We rushed over to get acquainted.

The owner hooked us up with Lemon Park's dynamic duo, sisters Penny and Tania Gleave. And that's how we learned that lightning could strike twice.

We're crushing on every semi-precious stone-encrusted piece in The Rocks collection ($250 to $800), from the midnight, black and bronze of Smoky Blue Ink to the whimsical astronaut tucked into Spaceman. And we're equally tempted by the modern simplicity of the Silver and Resin lines ($75 to $300).

Every stone and gem in The Rocks collection is personally sourced and hand-cut; the resin and silver are cut, sanded and polished individually. That means, of course, that every Lemon Park piece is unique.

In stores later this year, we've joined the mailing list in the meantime to receive an invite to their exclusive sales. But we prefer visiting the studio to get up close and personal with Lemon Park. It's only appropriate, when you're talking about true love.
