High expectations can sometimes lead to disappointment (like our blind date who was more Brad Garrett and less Brad Pitt).
Then again, sometimes they're exceeded beyond belief - like our recent trip to just-opened STYLESENSE.
This shoe and accessory utopia is from the team behind Winners, meaning all 15,000 square feet is filled with big names and bargain prices. And though we can't mention any of the specific designers we saw, let's just say we've visited their boutiques on Bleeker Street and in Bloomingdale's, rolled the r's in their Italian names, and drooled over their designs as they came down red carpets.
So now we've got a python-print envelope clutch ($20), black zippered motorcycle boots ($129), designer rain boots ($80) and sunglasses ($129) plus a pair of cranberry kitten heels ($300) that will never go out of style. The silver-striped platform heels ($400) we picked up will be perfect for our own red carpet walks – and just in time for the Film Festival.
