Much like Toronto itself, the new Leslieville home décor shop, Holy Cow, represents the best from around the world.
The two thousand-square-foot boutique features hand-selected imported accents from India, as well as Thailand, Africa, Mexico and Burma.
Bold colour is what ties these worldly finds together such as the inexpensive striped Indian market bags ($5), vivid throw pillows ($45), exquisite in-laid marble and semi-precious stone tables (from $1250) and of course the hand-painted sacred Indian ceremonial cows after which the shop is named (from $5000).
We won’t find anything else like it without a passport.
