For example, Boutique 1861 itself is an ode to retro chic, but it’s stocked with brand new dresses, skirts and coats from local labels and Danish designers.
The furnishings say Mad Men, but the clothes are pure Gossip Girl. Gliding across the white-washed wooden floor to a Victorian mirror, we admired ourselves in a lilac leopard cardigan ($79) by Soaked in Luxury, and a dramatic little black dress ($125) by Coccolily.
