Sheldon Gerbrandt has been the go-to hairdresser for VIP tourists and Montrealers in-the-know for years, and now his fiercely devoted fan base can visit him in an appropriately grand setting.
His new venture is Belle Époque, a luxe salon straddling the Plateau and Mile End. Like his cuts ($45+) and colour ($55+), the décor is modern yet timeless and undeniably unique (we love the elaborate chandelier hanging over a stack of suitcases painted white in the window). But there’s no lack of the intimacy and attention that’s made Sheldon so sought after.
We can’t wait to get our locks into his scissor-hands.
