Montrealers needn’t fret over the apparent closing of Le Marché MTL – the pink indie clothing shop is back and better than ever on St-Denis.
It’s easy to spot, too (thanks to the trademark shade of bubblegum paint job). The new digs have a glam boudoir feel, with clothes lining one wall and accessories hung from picture frames (and even an antique birdcage).
A DIY jewellery station let us match up hardware and metal accessories (we snagged a little gold horse pendant, $4). We found a ton of outfits from up-and-coming designers, like wool overalls from Carolina K ($340, on sale for $100) and a vintage-inspired silk dress ($200) from Toronto’s House of Spy.
Guaranteed to tickle anyone pink.
