Shopping while on holiday is an exciting endeavour (finds from abroad often can’t be had at home).
Luckily, Holly Wong opened her eponymous Gastown boutique Holly. Lamenting the lack of brand variety in town, Wong stocks her breezy store with labels often found south of the border or on the east coast.
Sea blue walls, high ceilings and an open concept had us feeling like we were shopping in beachy SoCal, as we slipped on a Low Luv Armour Knuckle Ring ($95) and House of Harlow Meryl Moccasins ($210). The best sartorial souvenir, however, was the Original Knitwear by Joanna Baraschi slim boyfriend blazer ($225) in navy with yellow detailing, the ideal slip-on for impending spring.
This is one trip that’ll be hard to forget.
