God bless our iPod, but sometimes we like it live.
At Radiopark, south Calgary’s newest musical playground, we get just that.
On Wednesday night we took in the never-disappointing Bush League, a cover band playing current favourites and great oldies. On Thursday, we were introduced to local up-and-comers like The Darcy’s, 40 Gun Flagship and The Dirty Girl Social Club.
In between sets, we indulged in chicken wings ($7 for 20) and rock-and-roll classic, pitchers of draft ($10). (And thought about coming back for the weekend DJs.)
That leaves Sunday to recover before we can start all over again.
