We can finally say it: Spring is here!
Looking in the mirror, we realized our winter-dulled complexion could use a little Spring cleaning.
So we stopped in at the newly opened Juva MedSpa for a free personal consultation. The prescription for our pasty shade and clogged pores? A combination of Microdermabrasiom, to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores, and Low Frequency Sonophoresis, to give our fresh face a healthy dose of vitamins using a specialized, super-transporting sound wave ($189 combined, $129 and $99 separately).
The results were so, well, glowing, it was well worth the tingling of the Derma-wand and the high-pitched beep of the magic sound machine (no one ever said beauty came without a little sacrifice). Performed back-to-back, it only took an hour of our precious time for both procedures.
To protect our pretty investment, we’re stocking up on products ($48 - $120) from Juva MedSpa’s select skin care line, Environ. But we won’t be stopping there. With everything from Botox ($11/unit) and Chemical Peels (from $149) to body-slimming Sudatonic Treatments (from $250), we’re sure we’ll find time for a few more tune-ups before summer.
