La Coupe Expands Into Spa Services

We headed to our regular salon for a makeover – only to discover it’s had one of its own.

Open since 1967, La Coupe has undergone a major renovation, with walls knocked down and the space brightened up with white quartz countertops and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Even more impressive are the new spa services, including mani-pedis, massage and facials. We’re fans of the pain-free LASER hair removal ($65/session for both underarms) and felt – and saw – the effects of the collagen Swiss line facial ($125) over a week later.

The salon’s still a draw, too, offering flattering cuts (from $38) and colour (from $50) courtesy of experienced staff using high-end products from Shu Uemura.

We’ve always loved a good makeover.
