We admit it: We're neat freaks. There isn't a speck of lint on our black pants and we dare you to find a single cat hair on our coat. So imagine how shocked (and annoyed) we were when we discovered the little nicks on the front of our laptop.
Trying not to panic, we headed downtown looking for answers (and a miracle or two). We found Etchpression, a brand new service that uses a laser to remove scratches. Thanks to their iPolish service ($10), the offending scratch was removed. However, we became further intrigued when we discovered the very same lasers could also etch a graphic design onto our laptop (or cellphone).
There are over 3,000 images in the Etchpression library - think penguins, a Joshua Tree, hockey logos - but you can present your very own artwork for the team to replicate. We got a butterfly on our cellphone ($35) and a Matisse-inspired line drawing on our laptop for $75. And iPolishing is only half price with engraving.
Happy with our nick-free, image-enhanced laptop, we set about perfecting the rest of our world - one scratch at a time.
