When it gets cold and rainy outside (like about now), we prefer to entertain at home. But nothing could rain on our entertaining plans more than running out of our fancy dishes when unexpected extra guests show up. (Forgot to RSVP? Enjoy your paper plate and plastic fork.)
Thankfully, we don’t have to worry with Drinkwater for the Home.
Anne Drinkwater started a wholesale-only operation years ago. Now, manager Rachel Watson takes care of the newly opened décor store’s wide variety of fabulous finds. The relaxing pastel walls barely calmed our excitement as we browsed their international inventory.
We loved the smooth texture of the Spanish alabaster glass serving bowl ($41.99) and the five-inch dip bowl ($11.99) could make guacamole gush. The peony motif tablecloth ($79.99) in a mineral blue will look great in our dining room, with the white lace-embossed mug ($7) and the Finland Leaf cup ($8) in toasted cinnamon as the perfect tabletop accents.
Plastic and paper? They’re staying in our wallets…
