We’re all fired up for ’09. We’re conquering our fears, reaching our goals and having fun in the process. This is the year we’re saying buh-bye to setbacks.
Thankfully, we’ve got Vancouver’s Danielle LaPorte to keep us inspired with her new creativity consultations, otherwise known as fire starter sessions ($300-500 for 30 or 90 minutes).
Part truth-doctor and part inspirational genius, Danielle rose to fame a few years ago with her book Style Statement. Now she’s giving us the chance to reach our goals faster in her one-on-one phone sessions (we don’t even have to leave the couch!). The concept had us loving it from the get-go.
First, we collect ideas about things we love, would love to do, need to do or see ourselves doing one day. Then, we jot down some burning questions (no, we did not ask about the next season’s must-have pieces), clip-out photos and then send them to her. Danielle does the research, uses her connections, experience and energy to brainstorm a plan. And voila, we’re living the dream! Not to mention that $25 goes towards charity.
Honestly, keeping it real is so easy.
