It takes a lot to hit 10 years of success (just think of the number of one-hit wonders you can still sing along to).
So when you’ve been on top for more than 13 years, we definitely have you flagged on our radar. That’s how we caught wind of Calgary bridal designer Evalina Schmidtke’s newest venture with her Evalina Couture boutique.
The salon’s now open (and expanded) on its building’s main floor (next to hubby’s Robert Sweep Homefurnishings). Brides and décor connoisseurs alike can shop the newly introduced luxe bridal-inspired home and accessory lines of luxury linens, exquisite bedding and elegant stemware.
The sought after couturier has forever been a must-have appointment on the way to wedded bliss, and now we enjoy more of her good taste without scheduling in advance (for the new home items).
We were instantly nap-ready when looking at the Sferra Egyptian cotton linens, goose down duvets and pillows. It may be spring, but we found it difficult not to succumb to the idea hibernation with Kelly Wearstler sheets. We started channelling our inner historian as we picked up Jan Barboglio’s vintage-inspired wine glasses and couldn’t get enough of Annie Selke’s fresh and colourful home furnishings.
Without hesitation: We do.
