If you opt to sell, she cuts a cheque for the estimated value immediately.
And anything gold goes (as long as it’s the real deal), from that seemingly gaudy bangle to a saved filling (a true Gold Party Vancouver story). The precious metal is then shipped back east, where refiners and recyclers put everything back into circulation by melting it down or creating new pieces.
So not only do you pocket a profit, that overstuffed jewellery box finally gets cleared out. How’s that for a little feng shui?
