It was getting pretty close for comfort for the Jason Meyers show. No seats empty and I was having trouble writing from the front row (the chairs this year are tiny!).
But the line was definitely worth it - soft silvers and pinks gave the yards of Muccia taffeta such an ethereal feel. (And anything accessorized with fresh water pearls is going to have to find some way of making it into my closet...)
My first show thus far with all the looks listed (thank you Jason) made it easier to pay close attention - and close attention I paid to the fabrics and cuts of this line. Blazers with cigarette pants; strapless dresses with bubble hems; silk chiffon blouses and cotton shirt-dresses (my attention was shattered a bit by the model who slipped a nip, but she maintained her composure, and so did I).
It seems that ruffles and one-shouldered tops as well as bright pops of colour (as seen on both long and short silk dresses) are sticking around for at least another season.
