Five yogis took to the stage, each one representing a pillar of what VATA Brasil stands for: excitement, performance, innovation, energy and authenticity. Among the showcased collection was a bright blue one-shoulder workout tank, an active wear dress and a black one-piece jumpsuit. But ask me what else there was and I might not be able to tell you (although the outfits were adorable, it was definitely the performances that were spectacular!).
So You Think You Can Dance Canada judges Tré Armstrong and Jean Marc Genereux were out to support season one dancers Miles Faber, Vincent Noiseux and Caroline Torti who joined six others on the catwalk. Canadian figure skating champion Josee Chouinard participated in Celebrity Mom’s On The Go for VATA Brasil Active WearEver! Yoga experts put their bodies in poses we normally see in magazines. And Canada’s Jump Rope Champions showed off a routine in sync to Brasilian music while the models continued to walk around them.(I don’t know about you, but 30 seconds with a skipping rope is torturous cardio for me.)
The stage was full of energy, smiling faces and fit bodies and definitely succeeded in making us want to get up and dance!
