If there was one thing that gave away the fact that this was Sears' first big fashion show, it was the long line of suits sitting in the front row; they are definitely not your typical fashion week guests.
If there was one thing that hid the fact that this was Sears' first big fashion show, it was the clothing. And in reality, that's really all that matters. The black and white collection exemplified some of the biggest trends, and all at affordable prices.
With so many great pieces, it's difficult to pick just a few, but here are some of my personal highlights. I loved the cropped baggy harem type trouser, which was paired perfectly with several flowy tanks. The one shoulder dress with an exaggerated ruffle down the side looked comfortable and classy; a great cocktail dress. The cropped blazer, bomber and shortened trench were all jackets that could easily become staples in anybody's wardrobe.
It was the first time we've seen Sears under the big top, but after this collection, I can guarantee it won't be the last!
