His 100% silk collection was divided up into seven stories, each based on Reva Mivasagar's interpretations of the diversity of Toronto. The line was wearable and definitely had a Canadiana-feel especially the Inuit Owl Story with its white base accented with black and purple and the Totem Story (my personal favourite) with its pagoda skirts and mini dresses.
Although I'm a sucker for anything that sparkles (have been missing the paillettes of seasons' past) I found some of the full beading a bit costume-y for my taste. But his use of light, airy chiffon and the cream tux shirt that had french cuffs nearly to the armpits (I simply must own this shirt) soon had me forgetting all about the over-beading.
