Tuesday's LUNDSTRÖM show definitely drew a crowd.
Looks from both LUNDSTRÖM and the new-for-fall LUNDSTRÖM Collection hit the runway. There were the outerwear classics you'd expect (including the famed LaPARKA) plus a host of buckles, belts, collars and cuffs.
While it wasn't all to my taste (that's the beauty of subjective style), I loved the warm neutrals of grey and oatmeal and long leather gloves styled with the sleeves pushed up (or kept short). A mini cable cardi looked like a perfect layering piece with a tweed pencil skirt while the two-piece ivory cropped kimono top was a very styled take on the sweater with its bell sleeves and glimpse of shoulder. Menswear influences seemed apparent in some of the pinstripe and pant looks (loved the delicate cuff at the ankle). Linda may not be at the helm anymore (especially evident when no one came out to bow at the end of the show) but it's clear LUNDSTRÖM still knows its customer (with a few options that could attract some new ones).
