The vibe at Dimitri-Chris was strong, moody and filled with edge from the start. The sound of stormy weather transitioned into hard rock as the serious, slick-haired models showed off well-tailored looks in a primarily dark colour palette filled with charcoal, black and navy.
Traditional British culture and sports were clear inspirations from head to toe as reinvented riding boots decked in luxurious suede accents and second-skin leather gloves joined the mostly slim fitting pieces down the runway. Tailored corsets, fur bow ties and deconstructed riding helmets added interesting texture and unexpected detail.
The mix and match of durable wool separates together with chunky knit accessories and sweaters created a look of countryside comfort that anyone could cosy up to. We admired the attention to detail in the tailored jackets and vests, and loved the mix of solid and plaid fabrics. Standout pieces took influence from womenswear (which is possibly why we loved them so much!). The giant hand-knit scarves might be daring for most men, but would fit quite perfectly in our own wardrobes.
