Joe Fresh Style

Joe Fresh Style, the last show of Wednesday night, was, in a word, packed.

Seat swipers were out in full force (I totally get taking the chance, but when the person who's name is on the chair shows up, it's surprising to see the offender be so slow to move) and twitter was abuzz with talk of famed plus-sized model Crystal Renn (she's reported to be a size 12) opening the always-anticipated show.

Applause started and ended the fast-paced show, which was full of warm camels, greys, browns and greens with some sequins, raspberry plaids, this season's seemingly requisite fur (faux) and other bright pops thrown in. I loved the lightweight heather grey capri sweat pant ($29) and a blouson sweatshirt ($29) that billowed above the elbow (and had me picturing sweats at the office).

The priciest piece on the line sheet were the leather stud boots ($159), an above-the-ankle biker boot that looked cool paired with everything from little dresses to urban shorts ($39). Oxfords and brogues ($59) will still be adding a little prep to our fall steps and we can't wait to add some fluffy fur gloves ($16) to our winter wear.

And Crystal Renn, seen above closing the show in leather front-zip boots, a mohair coat and slim pant (all under $100), definitely kept twitter talking throughout about how much smaller she looked than expected.
