Philip Sparks decided to show outside of LG's fashion week again with another (eagerly-attended) show at the Burroughes Building earlier this month.
Crowds came out to watch this menswear designer debut his fall 2010 collection, in a presentation-style show that sent the models out and then had them create an installation-type setting to see the detailed wares up close. The nautical-themed collection of 12 looks managed to feel functional (as if the men stepped off an east coast wharf of days gone by) without actually looking like gear (the modern influences and detailed design mean any man today would look just dapper).
We would certainly cosy up to any one of them (and will keeping an eye on the designer's online shop come fall).
