Kiss and tell? Never. RSVP and tell on the other hand, that’s a different story. From fashion week to film festivals, we’re checking out some of the biggest events and sharing every up-to-the-minute detail.

TIFF special correspondent Jordana Divon makes us all jealous by chatting with Scott Speedman at the Harry Rosen party for The Moth Diaries.
Although the downtown scene has really lit up this year, hosting the bulk of the parties and becoming the new de facto TIFF HQ, there’s something just a little more magical about Yorkville. Call it nostalgia, but the energy feels different around Bay and Bloor. The area has, dare I say, a little more character and even a touch more sophistication.
Perhaps that’s why Harry Rosen’s The Moth Diaries party felt so– well, grown up. Guests escorted up to the newly refurbished third floor mingled with the film’s stars, like that fine wine of a man Scott Speedman, amidst racks of gorgeous designer suits, sweaters and jackets.
Seriously, that man just gets better and better with age. And true to his Canadian roots, he also happens to be a really nice guy. A really hot really nice guy. Scott was happy to oblige all his admirers with a photo and a few kind words, appearing relaxed and composed. He stayed until the very end, mingling and hanging out with a pair of friends on one of the venue’s black leather sofas.
Over by the DJ booth, the cast of Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy held down the fort, laughing and clearly enjoying the scene. Adam Sinclair, the film’s handsome, Scottish-born leading man, displayed his quick wit in that irresistible brogue. Really, it didn’t matter what he said, as long as he said words. And yeah, I’m totally going to see the movie if it means two more hours of that.
Stunning Rookie Blue star Tattiawna Jones was rocking one of my favourite looks so far – a flattering white sheath with metallic gold details. I don’t know if it was that the dress was so beautiful, or if she just made it look that much better, but this girl needs to do way more red carpets.
Earlier in the evening, model Lily Cole, TIFF It Girl Sarah Gadon, and director Mary Harron passed through the gates, chatting with well-heeled guests and checking out the popular Harry Rosen instant photo booth.
As the big InStyle party kicked off across the street, and Bloor St. filled once again with eager, screaming fans, that singular Yorkville magic was briefly resurrected – even if only for the night.
