Despite the late hour and not-exactly-filled-to-capacity venue (see: late hour), those who stayed for last night's Lala Berlin show were treated to an imaginative, vibrant collection that explored different facets of femininity.

Designer Leyla Piedayesh dressed her models in soft, dreamy shades of lavender, pink and tie-dyed pastels for the first half of the show; fabrics were often sheer and silhouettes were short, sweet and tailor-made for a youthful audience.

The second half of the collection featured graphic prints, including a camouflage pattern in brown and army green hues, as well as strong, edgy black-on-black outfits that played with proportions and texture.
