Attitude Jay Manuel Show
See all of our Toronto Fashion Week runway reports.
Sears's Attitude line — with its simple, fashion-conscious designs and low price points — is always a fashion week favourite. This season, under the direction of Jay Manuel, the collection took on a distinct '70s vibe. Wide-leg pants and multi-coloured jumpsuits were sent down a vibrant, psychedelic-patterned runway.
In a cloud of machine-made smoke, Canadian model Yasmin Warsame took a tumble in her towering platform sandals but managed to keep her fedora on straight and righted herself to the audience's exuberant applause. After the last model disappeared backstage, a very well-manicured Jay came out to take a bow and received some well-deserved accolades for his design work.
