Designers Tosca Delfino (right) and Laura Siegel (left) both left us dreaming of white sandy shores after their Tuesday afternoon debuts.
The catwalk was transformed into the Cayman Islands for Tosca Delfino’s retro swimwear line. Thanks to high-waisted cuts and plunging v-necks in playful prints (plus a hooded one-piece), these bathers are sure to stand out in a crowd.
Laura Siegel’s studio show continued the ocean-inspired theme with barefoot models floating down the wood-lined runway. Her romantic, hippie chic collection was full of oversized pastel knits, beautiful scarves, hits of fringe, and tie-dye tunics in layers of chiffon, hemp and cheesecloth. The soft shades of cream, apricot and turquoise mirrored that of the beach, making us want to dig our toes into the sand.
Now all we need is a trip down south.
