Brazilian-born designer Baby Steinberg continued her eco-chic streak with her spring 2012 show in which she used remnants of discarded fabrics to create a distinctive collection of dresses.

Steinberg dipped into her Brazilian roots to pull inspiration for a variety of pieces, which were suitably assigned with names like "Ipanema", "Capoeira", and "Bossa Nova," while incorporating every colour under the rainbow.

We loved the designer's signature resourcefulness for being able to piece together individual fragments of cotton, chiffon, feathers, lace and sequins to create eye-catching cocktail dresses and gowns.

Steinberg's collection reminded us that the world of fashion has no boundaries when it comes to individual creativity.
