The bigger, the bolder, the better seemed to ring true for Micalla's spring 2012 jewellery collection.

Layering and chunky statement pieces were the predominant trends, with the standout look being a striking, suspended Swarovski mesh-panel necklace resembling a bird's wing.

Danish-born designer Camilla Jørgensen didn't shy away from using oversized and extremely vibrant crystals and gems to create a luxurious and over-the-top collection of jewellery pieces that any girl would love to have in her wardrobe.

One thing we're sure of, Micalla's pieces don't just accessorize an outfit, they make it.
