Runway Report: Alfred Sung White Collection

No surprise, the dominant colour at this fashion week opener was white (it is a bridal collection, after all). With lots of traditional looks to choose from, we were bombarded with silk, chiffon and extra embellishments like lace and crystals. (Not to mention the bouquets tossed after the show that landed in our un-expecting lap.) The romantic styles (again, bridal) mixed in voluminous skirts, while still managing to be subtle, with form fitting gowns and ones mixing a myriad of fabrics. Look good coming and going with details like a low scooped-back dress enhancing a simple tank. And our standout find had silk flower adornments on a mix of silk with a narrow, tulle-type skirt - it managed to stand out as a bridal look we haven't seen before.
