We appreciate the artistry, creativity and craftsmanship of designers but at the end of the day fashion should still feel fun - and these guys definitely didn't forget that. At a show so packed, the aisles were coveted territory, we watched great models (and great guest models like Traci Melchor), in great clothes having, yes, a great time. The show opened (on time we should mention, a very appreciated - and almost impossible to achieve - theme of the week) with So You Think You Can Dance's Blake McGrath and the roaring crowd stayed happy from there. In everything from light denim and open-backed tops to bird prints, oversized floppy hats and a great chiffon blouse with an elastic-belted bottom, models strutted, engaged the crowd, stripped a little and even brought out bikes and broke out kissing (we couldn't resist a couple shots). A modern spin on tie-dye print (to be more like a blended watercolour) was our standout - in everything from the lining of a casual white hoody, to a stunning flowing maxi dress.
