We’re not going to lie…for the past three years we have been the epitome of bad health.
Late nights, dining out, work stress, wedding-planning stress (two Culturite nuptials in the past year), travelling, drinking….etc. However, 2009 was a year of change and we made some positive efforts to create more balance in our lifestyles. It worked. Now we’re even more ambitious for 2010.

That’s not to say we don’t have our weak moments - saying yes to that extra drink or piece of cake, working ’til 2AM, forgoing our workouts for a dinner out - but we're trying.
And now, we want to let you in on our secret health weapons:
1) Vitamin IV therapies (VIT). A package of concentrated vitamins (customized for your body) that is taken intravenously (one hit, approx. $60-$90). The effects? Total body and immune boost. Skin will be glowing, body will be energized. VITs are the rage in LA right now, specifically in the entertainment industry. A few naturopathic doctors in Toronto do them. The one we frequent is Dr. Dempster (he’s Ashleigh’s brother and just happens to be one of the best in the business ) at his recently opened The Dempster Clinic in Yorkville. Leave yourself an hour and a half for a treatment but not to worry if you’re a PDA addict like us, you can plug away at your emails while the drip is administered! www.drdempster.com
2) Micheal Okumura. For an advanced whole body program, head straight to Fusion Health Studios. Micheal and his staff of amazing trainers approach your fitness holistically, looking at all aspects of your lifestyle. Plus, if you travel as much as we do, you can benefit from a sophisticated online program that he updates weekly with training schedules you can use on the road or in your hotel gym. www.fusionhealthstudio.com
