LaineyGossip hosted the 6th Annual SMUT Soiree with blended themes of Hollywood glamour and the always-chic eco-movement. 600 guests were welcomed upon arrival with a green carpet at Evergreen Brick Works, transformed for the evening from a historical landmark into the most swish space in town.
Cuisine catered to sweet-tooth aficionados with a fully stocked Maynards candy bar, Caramilk Liquer martinis, ABSOLUT candy apples and Apple-Orient crafted cocktails, making for a deliciously decadent affair.
Everyone felt like a member of the glitterati as ladies were treated to blowouts at the John Frieda Hair Salon, primped and pampered at the Rimmel Beauty Bar, and luxuriated at the Aquafina plus+ Vitamins Revitalizing Spa. Fashions were fierce as guests competed for a $2,000 gift card to The Bay at the inaugural edition of the Bay & LaineyGossip Style Award, presided over by industry experts Christopher Sherman and Sasha Tong.
Set against a dance-heavy soundtrack provided by a DJ set from NYC based Brendan Fallis, SMUThounds schmoozed until Lainey took centre stage under a beautiful sunset sky and the dishing began. From the hottest A-listers, to tabloid darlings, royal fixations, and bad boys/girls, no one was safe as Lainey and her fellow panelists dished the dirt on all to an eagerly awaiting crowd. A delectably smutty evening indeed, Culturites can safely say that it was the best SMUT Soiree to date; until next year, we’re all yours in gossip!
