Mila Kunis for Dior; Taylor Swift Acts

lunchtime quickie: 5 links you'll lovecanada (Jan.05.12)

* In the latest high-end fashion house news, Christian Dior has announced that Mila Kunis will be the new face of the brand and will appear in the 2012 spring campaign. [Women's Wear Daily]

* Well, she finally did it. After years of dating, and then breaking up and making up, Jessica Biel finally got Justin Timberlake to propose. Sources say he popped the question in the mountains of Wyoming. [US magazine]

* She's already conquered the music world, and now Taylor Swift is taking on movies. Reports are swirling that she has been offered the role of Eponine in Tom Hooper's upcoming Les Miserables.  If true, she'll join an already stellar cast, including Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway. [LaineyGossip]

* We thought we'd seen it all until this ad for a French children's clothing line came along. The photograph was taken on a beach somewhere in France, and somehow the photo editors missed the completely nude man in the background. We're not totally sure, but we're thinking this ad is not going to do much for sales. [Fashionista]

* In what might be the most anticipated store opening of the century, Target Corp. has confirmed the location of the first 24 Canadian stores. While we still have to wait a year (stores aren't planned to open until March/April of 2013), at least we know exactly where to watch. [Financial Post]
