When a cold catches us we go down hard. Sadly, our alternatives to pharming-up (from chicken soup to Echinacea overload) haven’t always produced the best results.
After getting tagged this cold and flu season we turned to the new line of Cold and Flu products from Rocky Mountain Soap Company. They’ve introduced a body pampering, natural approach to care for the afflicted.
We poured a steamy bath and tossed in the Cold and Flu Bath Gem ($4.49). While the water eased our achy joints the fizzy treasure released the fresh scent of eucalyptus. In minutes our nasal passages started to open.
We spritzed the Cold and Flu Bed and Body Mist ($12.49) on our pillows so we could continue breathing easy (and freshen up the room). Our final act of self-care before donning our flannels was to smooth on some Cold and Flu Body Butter ($7.99) to ease the congestion in our chest.
Slipping between the sheets – moisturized, fragrant and relaxed – we couldn’t think of anything else we needed to feel better. Although, a hot toddy probably wouldn’t hurt.
