If only the legal age to drive in Alberta was three, instead of 16. Our little tyke could drive himself to preschool and then drop his sister off at piano lessons.

Kinder Car Service offers a much safer alternative to letting a preschooler drive. Recently arriving on the scene in Calgary, Erin Richards is gearing up for the back to school chaos with her family shuttle service (two-way transportation, 5 day-a-week runs for $400 per month). Pre-screened drivers (of course) will pick up and drop off kids (2 years+) at lessons, daycare, school and the list goes on. Our budding Mozart will never have to miss another music lesson again.

On occasion, we not only need that extra set of wheels, but an extra grown-up person. (We’d like to have a clone, but we’re told that’s not yet an option.) Kinder Car Service shows up with the appropriate booster and car seats in tow. They even go the extra mile by escorting their precious cargo from car to classroom.

A personal chauffeur and a bodyguard -- and he’s only three! (That can only mean our little dude is destined for Hollywood.)
