Wunderbar Better than Wonder Bread

We carbo-loaded when we were pregnant and even now, running around after our wee-ones hasn’t stopped those cravings.

Thankfully, Aviv Fried, Calgary’s famous bike delivery bread man, has set up shop at Sidewalk Citizen Bakery on Fridays and Saturdays.

Families flock here for homemade, organic baked goods such as toothsome loaves of multigrain ($6.50). Our little ones love the flaky croissants ($2.50) and sticky buns ($3) and with no additives or preservatives, we don’t mind indulging a sweet tooth. Winter brings savoury seasonal items, such as dolce de leche brioche ($3) and organic apple and pear scones ($3).

Having this bakery available is the greatest thing since, well, sliced bread.
