It’s hard enough dealing with tots tummies due to food intolerances, but being asked to give up their favourite treats is just too much!

Goodness comes to baked goods thanks to Big Star Bakehouse, an entirely gluten-free operation.

Sandwiches can be put back on the school menu with fresh loaves of white ($8) and flax bread ($6.50-$8.50). While we tucked into mini-quiches ($4.25) with aged cheddar, our kids devoured decadent brownies ($3.75) and banana bread muffins ($3).

With a gluten intolerance it’s difficult to dial-out for pizza, so we were thrilled to find non-soggy pizza crusts ($8), perfect for those nights when we just want to hibernate.

Take that tummy troubles!
