Sometimes we wish we could bottle our children’s energy and use it ourselves (take that, coffee addiction!). But seeing as science is currently not on our side, we need a new outlet for them to exert their exuberance.
Since they won’t be attending our weekly spinning class anytime soon, we found Shangri-La in Kazoom Café, where kids can play their hearts out ($4.95-$9.95) while we sit back and relax. At first glance, this newly opened entertainment center in DDO, looks like a tranquil mini village. It turns out to be the perfect place for a group of overzealous tykes to get lost in a web of slides, nets and ropes. And not too far away is a big comfy couch with our name on it.
If watching their over-activity exhausts us, we can always refuel on sandwiches ($5.95-$6.95), drinks and sweets. And when they finally crash, some kid-friendly food ($3.50-$4.00) will shift them back into high gear.
And we’ll always have our coffee.
