Okay. So we made a mistake. We tossed out our maternity stretch pants and breastfeeding bras the minute we could fit into our pre-pregnancy jeans. And now that our second bundle is on the way, we’re kicking ourselves.
TRALALA boutique offers a solution that allows us to receive a little money for items we don’t use anymore and to buy second-hand high-end items for a bargain. (Phew! There’s only so much kicking ourselves we can do when we can barely see our feet)
Yes, there may be other consignment stores in Montreal, but TRALALA only accepts high-end brand name clothes. That means no circa 1980s muumuus on these shelves. Just our favourite collections of accessories, toys, clothing for maternity (like Formes, Rebel and Thyme) and children from 0 to 10 years old (think last season’s ELLE, DKNY and Burberry), all looking for new homes.
But what we love is that all unsold items head to the Women’s Center of Montreal for women in need. So now our clothes not only get a second chance, they give a second chance as well.
