You Shall Have Some Glitter Pie

There's no sitting in a corner like Little Jack Horner when it comes to Glitter Pie, Toronto's newest art studio for kids of all ages. Creative cooks are encouraged to stick their whole bodies in, and get their artistic ya yas out. (What a plum assignment!)
"Chef de Cuisine" Tiffany Pratt has the recipes for fun: Bake a birthday party ($30 per guest), drop in for a weekday session grouped by age or sign up a wee "Commis Chef" for art exploration classes in her kitchen...er...studio. Glitter Pie provides the supplies, the creative direction and, most importantly, the clean up. No aprons or chef’s whites required (and no kittens crying over soiled mittens). Play clothes are encouraged, as getting messy keeps the creative juices flowing.
From the kiddie menu: "You & Me Pie" ($140-215 for 4-6 week sessions), where two-year-olds join their grown-ups in exploring ingredients such as brushstrokes, sprays, plops and sprinkles. Or try "Art Bazarre Pie" ($160-215 for 4-6 week sessions), where three-year-olds have their first taste of independence while making delicious discoveries in multi-media workshops. There's something to everyone's taste, with group sessions for all age ranges (even classes for grown-ups).
It's simple. Simon says let them taste Glitter Pie's wares!
