Luckily, there’s a place our tots can let loose their chaotic charisma. Orange Dot (our former prenatal hangout with classes like Butt Kickin’ Pregnancy Workout and the Birthing Together with Confidence) now has the Messy Magic class ($253). This hands-on course for children three and a half to six years old has them elbow-deep in science experiments and cooking fun. It’s the perfect drop-off program for wee ones who dare to make a creative mess by mixing different mediums (think everything from goopy glue to sand) onto crazy surfaces (we’re not talking your average dried pasta on construction paper).
And if ever our tyke wants to actually do something that doesn’t involve getting wet paint on his nostrils, we can sign up for Orange Dot’s Hip Hop and Jazz ($198) or Music for All ($198) classes. (We appreciate any place where he’ll have a chance to channel his noise.)
