Now that our winter wonderland has finally melted away, it’s time to get back to the reality of west coast living: Rain.
We’ve said ‘goodbye’ to snow angels and ‘hello again’ to soggy puddles and mud. And while comfy fleece hats are perfect for little heads on a cold snowy day, they just don’t cut it in the rain. Mothers don’t fret, thanks to rain hats by Raindrops Baby Gear, we don’t have to spend the next three (or four) months indoors.
These broad and not-too-floppy brimmed hats will keep the rain off kids’ faces and the Velcro straps mean the hat will stay in place. Not only are these locally made chapeaus practical, but they look good too. Our little rain dancers will love the Flower Power hat and our puddle pouncers will dig the Little Boy Blue topper ($30 each).
Each fun print and pattern is hand-picked by designer-mom Corri Seers and sent off to Quebec to be coated with waterproof polyurethane. The hats are then lined with a bamboo and organic cotton blend – meaning no more cold and clammy noggins.
If only we looked as cute wearing rain hats…
