Remember recharging at a hip cafe with a latte, snack, and gossip… then cringing when toddler screams curdled the milk? And realizing it’s our own kid?
Now we’re “those people” and the world of cafes has caught up with the new “us.” Lil’ bean n’ green café n’ play can shelter and comfort (nay, sustain!) us with fair trade coffees ($4) and organic, gluten-, milk- and nut-free options that aren’t taste-free.
Stroller parking and creative play space saves our day and our sanity ($3/hr). Activities like crafts and story time mean the only whining comes from those who think the kids are having more fun than we are.
Never again will we play “Pick Up Stir Sticks” just to drink up while it’s still warm!
