We wanted to devour the book Eat, Pray, Love, especially when reading about the mind-blowing pizza in Naples.
It looks like Leslieville is the new Italy. New to Queen East, Queen Margherita Pizza fires up “Vera Pizza Napoletana” in an authentic pizza oven (shipped straight from Naples).
We swooned over fresh cheese and low-acid tomato sauce – a step up from our usual pizza night. The classic Margherita cheese pizza ($14) is great for tots (yes, children are welcome – this is Leslieville!), while a daily menu ($14-19) offers loads of other options. Prix fixe ($25) gets you a starter and dessert with your choice of ’za.
With reservations available and pickup ready in mere minutes, we say God Bless the Queen.
