Your Guide to a Long Weekend in Toronto

activities for the long weekendToronto (May.17.11)

Three to four hours of traffic on the 400 is enough to drive anyone crazy, so park that minivan and settle in for an action-packed long weekend in the city.

Enjoy brunch at any one of these awesome, family friendly breakfast spots and then pack a blanket, ball and bike (and sunscreen!) and head to one of Toronto's best parks for a lazy afternoon of fun in the sun.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, spend the afternoon at True North Climbing, where the whole family can rope-up and scale the course, and treat the kids at one of these wicked fro-yo joints post-climb.

Give your man a break (or task him with some errands), while you meet up with your besties and take the kids for a stroll, stopping by our favourite kiddie boutiques, Advice from a Caterpillar and Auggie Boutique, before settling in for a café au lait while the kids play at one of these kid-friendly cafés.

Plan ahead and book one of these extraordinary nannies and enjoy a date-night out (you remember those, right?) at one of Toronto's best outdoor patios.
